Bookstart is the movement which encourages parents and carers to enjoy books with children from as early an age as possible. This program is one of the grounds for lifelong education.

To promote book reading, the local figures will recommend books. This will call many people`s attention to books.

By supporting small libraries and private libraries, accessibility to library can be enhanced, thus the libraries can play a key role in local culture.

The municipal libraries will encourage young students to read more books and to use libraries more frequently by way of integration of library materials with local libraries and school libraries based on collaboration with local schools.

We share our items, database and information with local university libraries based on mutual agreement, so that users of our library can use or borrow items which are not held in our library.

Municipal libraries will collaborate with other libraries such as private libraries, Saemaeul Libraries, and resident center libraries in order to provide better library service.
